Desert Sheriff's Search and Rescue (DSSAR) was formed in 1994 and incorporated March 1995. DSSAR began with 8 strong hikers and has evolved into a highly trained and respected team of men and women volunteers. We are a nonprofit organization and are funded by people like you.
