Desert Sheriff's Search and Rescue (DSSAR) is an organization of skilled local volunteers dedicated to providing a specialized service to citizens of Riverside County. In support of the Riverside County Sheriff, DSSAR will conduct search and rescue missions and respond to other disaster and emergency situations. Based at the Palm Desert Sheriff's station, DSSAR may cooperate with other agencies as requested.
